He stared at that gorgeous face, with her full lips tilted in a bold smile and those fairy eyes glowing. Refusal was on the tip of his tongue, then he looked closer. There was just a hint of nerves lurking there, just beneath the desire.
That vulnerability hit him even harder than the desire, melting the rest of his resistance like fire melted wax.
