Woot! I’m so excited to share the second book in the Aegis Security series with you. Navy SEAL Bodyguard features Spence Lloyd, a SEAL building a new life after leaving the team, and his first assignment: going undercover to protect the daughter of his commanding officer.

And while Spence is skilled at all things under the covers, working undercover means lying to a woman he’s seriously attracted to. This was a fun conflict to write, as was one of the main challenges that Spence and Mia have in common: parental meddling. Aah, parental meddling... Her father, his mother and all those behind-the-scenes attempts to interfere in their adult children’s lives. Not that I have any personal experience with that, of course. I enjoyed combining that family vibe while writing these intense characters. As much fun was weaving in the luxurious locations, the fancy charity events and, one of my personal favorite topics, obsessive planning, along with the twisted turns of suspense and betrayal.
