Perhaps be there night in heart mine? What

I’m feeling now? Has departed the night,

But maybe still it’s remaining. One

Is dwelling in myself. And the Sun

I cannot see – now very wet.

Where weather is fine, there it went

Perhaps will return. Sun, come back!

I’m feeling dark, gloom has set in.

When the sunburst I’ll see in the sky,

Then all will be right in feelings mine.

Sun-cult is favourite subject-matter

About that I’m writing. Better

When are in the sky the Sun and stars,

When all the time there are shining ones.

Believe I, so many people

Do prefer the Sun, and there is need of

Weather lovely. In the human heart

Let the Sun and morning star

Dwell deeper. When soul is full, —

All life will be more beautiful.

Beginning early morning for myself, —

I am meeting the shining ray.

Together we reject the wet rain!
