1. Life is like a river, where fast flows the time.

And people can’t feel the joy fully of the young,

When comes on time the venerable age.

The flow never turns back.

2. We must remember that in each age

When the hopes are realized, it is the time best,

It gives us the one happy chance,

But at the boon the blind man does not even glance.

3. The river of life is flowing very fast,

Transforming the years into dust.

What will be left behind is but decline,

When the day will come for summing up the life.

4. What for did we live the life,

Who will answer, was it wrong or right.

In vain or in use proper the years did fly

Without being understood the lesson passed by.

5. Enough good experience in life did we derive,

Or nothing of the kind could we find.

Flowing time can bring good advice,

For him, who wants high to rise.

6. Go up by the ladder of sunny days,

And look down at the faces from there.

As years pass and flows the life,

We must learn the lesson divine in time!
