1. Has flow the river, has flow the wit.

From the little source begins the deed.

Both pass under water the heavy stones,

And the net removes such obstacles in the flow.

2. This hindrance is a painful one,

Is harming the stream in its joyful run.

The stones are invisible oftentimes,

But their blows are quite painful for us.

3. Who placed at the bottom this weight immense

A burden cruel inside the fleeting sense?!

What for these stones must lie at the bottom,

Without them is free the flow of the water.

4. Who put in the head the painful wit,

Which is suffering from the stone’s hit?

Who will deliver us from the heartless one

And throw out the unnecessary kind.

5. The flow must be the powerful torrent.

The water clean and very transparent.

So that the obstacles are seen from far, —

Which hinder the reflections of the stars.

6. It is very needful that flow does run

From the Master Ascended, who directs fine

In the true channel the flow of wit

So that we can wise reflections meet!
