JACK RUSSELL TERRIER

The Jack Russell Terrier (formally known as the Parson Russell Terrier) is a resilient little dog, named after 19th-century clergyman Reverend John Russell. The breed has its roots in England about 200 years ago as a small, game-hunting dog, used to hunt the red fox. At this time, hunting was a favourite pastime for men who owned property, as well as men of the church. Jack Russell Terriers are intelligent, affectionate, extremely loyal and playful little dogs.
