Employment
ОглавлениеAt the time of this writing, I have had the following experience:
► 15 jobs
► Attended more than 70 job interviews
► Had more than 3,000 interviews from the position of a recruiter
• Don’t believe the promises that you can get a job without a language and everything will be OK.
• Even if you come with a group of amateur tourists, determined to conquer new peaks, in the end you will still be alone.
• Working through agencies is not profitable. Part of the salary will go to them, and there is no guarantee that tomorrow you will also be called to work.
• “Trial days” are a scam. It’s a pure charity work. Any trial day must be paid.
• “Get a great experience – take a part in the volunteer program!” – This is also a call for a free labor. For the employer, this section in your CV will only mean that you are ready for all kinds of jobs that he is not willing to pay for.
• A job interview starts already 100 meters before the meeting point. Why? Employees of the company may be somewhere around. They are observant. Later they can share what they have seen.
• A beautiful CV is great! It is even better if it is simple, understandable, and readable. Sometimes just because the CV looks worse than any quest, it goes directly into the trash bin.
• If a person does not know how to clearly state his thoughts in his cover letter, which is attached to the CV, then usually the process of hiring him or her ends up there.
• In job advertisements everything must be indicated. There should be no secrets covered in darkness. Otherwise, the work will turn out to be just like that.
• Walking to distribute CVs on the street is a waste of time, first of all- yours. All vacancies are posted online. Two – there is a high probability that the employees of the organization will throw it into the trash bin without handing it over to their superiors. Why do they need competitors?
