Marking the tool handle

Оглавление

Another important part of my tool design is to mark the handle with black and red lines so I can tell if the tip is horizontal when I’m working inside a pot. Black line up, everything’s fine; red line up, trouble on the line.

Making large tool handles more comfortable

When I’m working with large bent tools, I often wrap the handle’s back end with foam rubber and duct tape. When gripped, the foam provides additional comfort and takes on the imprint of my hand to provide another reference for when the tip is horizontal.
