The city with its narrow streets, I was here again. I went just a half a block down the street to the cafe Near You. Going into it, I saw the same interior, Alexa was sitting at the same table. I happily rushed to her.

“Hi, Alexa. I’ve missed you!”

“Hi, Alexandra. It seems that you have something to tell you” Alexa smiled at me warmly.

“Yes, so much has happened.”

The waitress came up to us, brought coffee.

“I don’t even know where to start. I fell in love.”

“The guy with the yellow bag?”

“Yes, this is he, Arthur. He’s cool. And I got a job as advertising specialist in his firm Absolute. This company is engaged in sale and installation of security systems. Today I received my first assignment. You know, I have to develop company logo. I still never came up with anything like this and don’t even know how I’ll handle it.”

“You need to start somewhere. We can ponder about this with you. The company name will include the logo?”

“Yes, Arthur and Maxim – it’s their firm, they want that.”

“What do they want else?”

“They want the logo to be recognizable and memorable. Arthur said that they had seen the logo that included the image of a tiger and the name of the company, written vertically. People will remember this. But we need not so much an animal, how to unite the name of the firm Absolute and security systems in one memorable image.”

“What may be in the logo, if not an animal?”

“They don’t know exactly. I assumed person. Maxim said that it could be both person and house, and the security system. But the security system will not fit in the logo; I drew the house and did not see it there, too.”

“So, you have: ‘Absolute,’ ‘unite,’ ‘security system,’ ‘image,’ ‘person.’”

“Somehow I imagined person and threads coming from him.”

“Well, let’s add ‘threads.’ And what is a security system?”

“I not quite yet figured that out, but the security system used to protect home, office; there are in it any sensors, video cameras for monitoring and tracking and much more.”

“Then the security system used to protect and control to none of the other people have not penetrated into some room unnoticed, right?”

“I think right.”

“Let’s see what you got now: ‘security system,’ ‘protection,’ ‘control,’ ‘thread,’ ‘person,’ ‘Absolute.’”

“You changed the word order.”

“Yes, you noticed right.”

“You know, I would paint ‘person,’ connected by ‘threads’ with ‘control’ and ‘protection’ that, allegedly, he has everything under control with the security system. I imagine two hands and from them ‘threads’ to ‘control’ and ‘protection.’ And on the side, I would write ‘Absolute’ as Arthur and Maxim saw vertically.”

“And where you will place ‘security system?’”

“Can be at the bottom, under ‘control’ and ‘protection.’”

“Now you need to draw all and see what how it looks. You will remove excess.”

“What if is there something wrong?”

“‘Creations’ always bear by that way. You create starting with something. Then you change and fix it more than once to get the optimal option. It may seem that there are the people who do that immediately. In fact, everyone goes through a lot of trial and error, creating or discovering something new.”

The outlines of the cafe together with Alexa began to disappear….
