I again was in the strange town with narrow streets. Wandering the streets of this city, I finally saw the sign “Near you” of the familiar to me cafe and went to it. I don’t know how, but once inside, I one more time stood in my kitchen. Someone already was here: I saw her, my double.

“I’ll make coffee for us, would you mind?” she smiled and added. “Besides, I cooked the scrambled eggs for you. You haven’t eaten anything during the day.”

“Again, are you?”

“Yes, it’s me.”

I remembered my recent conversation with her. I was wondering why I remembered it just now.

“Last time you told me about the guy with the yellow bag. He came into the store, as you said, even bought a pair of shoes. I went with him to a cafe to drink coffee. At the same time into the store the owner arrived and fired me because I wasn’t in the workplace. Did you set this up?”

“No, I didn’t.”

“If I hadn’t gone to drink coffee with him, no one would have framed me, and I wouldn’t have lost my job. You have arranged to get me fired!”

“I think first you’d better eat.”

She spoke calmly, gently, and I obediently sat down and ate scrambled eggs.

“Well, now we can drink coffee and talk about your problems,” she said.

After eating, I became calmer and no longer blame her.

“You told me about the guy with the yellow bag but didn’t say anything about what the owner will fire me. Did you know about this?”

“It was one of the options.”

“What do you mean?”

“This means that you need changes for your development. If you move towards them, they will happen in your life.”

“I do not feel any development. In my opinion, I am in full ass. What’s great is that Ruslan and Katya framed me, but Irina said nothing in my defense. I can’t forgive them. Ruslan uttered bad things about me, and Roxanne fired me. It hurts, do you know? And I was left without a job! Two years ago, when mom and dad died, no one wanted to give me a job.”

“Do you want to go back to work in the store as before?”

“Already I can’t and don’t want to.”

“Well, you’ve resolved this issue. Let’s take care of the rest. You don’t look very well, and hardly anyone will want to hire you like this. What are you offended?”

“I told you: Ruslan set me up for revenge, Katya supported him, Irina didn’t interfere to protect me, and Roxanne fired me.”

“But what if the opposite, it helped you to make a step to new possibilities in your life? Did you just misread the situation?”

“Why new opportunities can’t be without these ‘framed’ and ‘fired’?”

“It is a test: if you succumb to emotions and continue to be offended, you will continue, as you put it, to be in full ass, but if you can handle the emotions, new opportunities will open for you.”

“Are you serious?”

“Yes, I am.”

“Well, right now I hurt. And what can I do with this? How do I suppress what I feel?”

“Emotion is energy in motion; it can work for you or against you. If you suppress your emotions, they will damage you from the inside. You have to rule this energy, redirecting it.”

“How can I rule my emotions? And where will I direct them energy?”

“You didn’t draw anything for a long time. What if you once again take brush in hand and direct the energy of your emotions in a drawing? Or you can run down the road until all the energy is over, as Forrest Gump did in the movie of the same name, Forrest Gump. The pain of resentments just disappears in this case. There are options; you will decide which one to choose.”

She looked like me but thought differently.

“And new opportunities, will they open really?” I asked.

She told me about what happened to me is very unusual. It got me interested.

“Yes, they will if you are not afraid of difficulties. You’ll check” she said and disappeared.
