3.3.1.3 Contaminated/Spoiled Food, Dirty Food, and Water Receptacles

Contamination from feces and urine, rotten food, chemicals, or other environmental contaminants poses an immediate risk to an animal's health. Parasitic infections, bacterial, and protozoal diseases are spread by animals ingesting the infectious agent while eating or drinking.
