GREATEST AIR RAID OF WAR

Paris, Aug. 26 -- Sixty-two French aviators bombarded the German munition factory at Dillingen, Bavaria, in the greatest aerial raid of the war, it was officially reported this afternoon.

The aviators flew a distance of more than a hundred and fifty miles and returned from a French aviation camp in the Vosges region.

They dropped one hundred and fifty bombs upon the munition works of which thirty were of large caliber carrying high explosives.

In no air raid in the world war had so many aviators been engaged.
