Poor people are walking arm in arm. There are women, who walk barefooted long ways to the well carrying dented buckets on their heads.

Skin cracks come with the years in foot soles and on toes. The water must be carried far distances that life can go on.

Mothers show it their daughters and the older girls teach the younger sisters. Water is a serious topic that people concerned do not laugh about.

Arm in arm thin legs go far and the distance will continue in years of drought, if the wells don’t have water that hope pulls to the next well.

It is the early morning to carry water, because after a few hours the stone is glowing that the foot soles start burning on the way.

Mothers and girls stand early around the well and pull up the water filled buckets from great depths.
