I don’t care

Оглавление

The following day Sanya quietly opened the entrance door and, looked around and went out. The weather was warm and sunny. He wanted to get to the football pitch as soon as possible to play with his friends. Sanya noticed the guys from another yard. They were about to bully him again, so that he got angry and started the fistfight. The previous time, after such a meeting, he came back home having a grazed knee and a bruise.

“Look who is coming! That's our champion!” the guys started.

“Oh, you have a holey ball! Or maybe you've got flat feet?”

Sasha was silent, though it was so insulting. He didn't know what to say, anyway.

“We’ve already prepared some tissues for you,” the boys kept on.

They could see that they enjoyed seeing his face turn red and his eyes getting wet. But then an unexpected thought came to his mind. Sanya hesitated a little, but decided to try.

“I don't care! I don't care what you think!” Sashka blurted out.

The boys opened their mouths in surprise. They didn't expect anything like that.

“While you keep on practicing how to offend others here, I’ll go and play.”

Sanya jumped up and, taking an advantage of the pause, deliberately ran merrily to his friends. They played really well that day and had lots of fun. It turns out that when you don't care, others lose their interest to tease you.
