Golf and children.
ОглавлениеSo far, we have talked about the benefits of golf for adults... and what about children? These, as well as young people, turn out to be the most benefited population, since any sport that is learned from childhood gives the practicing child not only a healthy environment, but also a propitious space to grow in values of all kinds, as well as learning the importance of discipline for any dimension that is assumed in the course of life, in addition you can advance from learning for fun to professional golf practice and for this starting during childhood is the best decision.
This dimension is presented as a wonderful complement to school life and the construction of primary socialization, that is, more than learning content, which is important, golf helps to train the child for family and school interaction based on relationship codes to live together in society that will be useful for the rest of life, helping the child to think about guiding his life towards the best purposes and excellence.
As a second aspect, it is possible to reflect on golf for children, i.e., this sport has a whole foundation, training, support, training programs, counseling, practices, tournaments, among other aspects that are designed in the key of childhood, i.e., there is a whole theoretical, instructional and professional foundation that guarantees learning, practice and personal growth from childhood by the preparation in the sport of golf.
Finally, it is important to contemplate golf with childhood, since, as a product of the two previous considerations, golf from childhood and golf for childhood, it is evident the multiplicity of contributions that golf offers to children for the consolidation of the human person, that is, a being with personal and collective values that allows him/her to perform as an individual who contributes positively to society.
The ideal is to inculcate this sport in children from the age of six, which is the best age to start practicing this sport because:
It is fun and "hooks" children quickly as they advance and improve faster than in other sports.
Allows them to interact with adults and family members.
It allows them to develop socialization and human relations skills.
Promotes positive competition.
Promotes fair play among participants.
Empowers decision making.
Encourages the desire to excel; child has fun breaking records.
It teaches to value and respect nature by being in permanent contact with it during the game.
The discipline inherent in this sport will naturally become part of the child's behavior.
Helps to gain autonomy.
Relaxes the body and mind, improves concentration.
Improves and perfects fine and gross motor skills.
Improves coordination, balance and equilibrium.
Improves spatial location and laterality skills.
Stimulates literacy and mathematical thinking.
Develops critical and creative thinking skills.
Promotes effort (frequency, timing, rhythm and emotion).
Training in values such as Respect, Responsibility, Confidence, Courtesy, Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance, Punctuality, etc.
In summary, we can say that golf allows children to positively channel their emotions and enhance their qualities. These positive elements carry over into the rest of their lives and improve balance and overall performance.
Can you imagine being able to enjoy, from an early age, the benefits that golf offers for the development and potentiation of the innate qualities of the human being?
