THE V.I.P

Not every house has a V.I.P. who lives there. But the presence of a V.I.P. makes all the difference. It is what makes a mere house into a real home.

How can one tell that it is a real home? Well, there is the honoured seat, for example. Perhaps it is the fireside chair. Then there is the special window and the exclusive sunny spot, which are reserved unconditionally for the V.I.P. And of course, there is the choice menu and most especially the select treats. All these things are only to be expected in a real home.

Above all, there is the presence of the actual V.I.P. These letters are sometimes misunderstood. But any sensible person knows, after all, what these letters really stand for. Of course, it is: Very Important Pooch.

Не в каждом доме есть VIP-персона, которая там живёт. Но присутствие VIP имеет решающее значение. Это отличает настоящий дом от простого жилища.

Как можно определить, что такое настоящий дом? Например, есть место, выделенное для VIP. Возможно, это кресло у камина. И есть окно и солнечное место для VIP. И конечно же, есть меню и особенные угощения для VIP. Всё это в порядке вещей в настоящем доме.

Кроме того, есть присутствие самого VIP. Эти буквы не всегда правильно понимают. Но любой здравомыслящий человек знает, что они расшифровываются как «Очень Важный Пёсик».
