Story:

Maria needed to send a package to her friend in another city. It wasn’t the first time she had been to the post office, but today she was a little nervous because she hadn’t sent anything this big before. She gathered everything she needed: the package, her ID, and some cash for the postage.

When she entered the post office, she noticed a few people in line ahead of her. The place was busy, but it wasn’t too crowded. She waited patiently and soon it was her turn.

“Good afternoon!” said the postal worker with a friendly smile. “How can I help you today?”

“I’d like to send this package,” Maria replied, placing the box on the counter. “Can you help me with the shipping options?”

“Of course! Do you want to send it by regular mail, or do you need it delivered faster?” the worker asked.

“I need it to arrive quickly. What options do you have?” Maria asked.

“Well, we have express shipping, which is more expensive, or priority mail, which takes a bit longer but is more affordable,” the postal worker explained.

“I’ll go with the express shipping,” Maria decided.

“Great choice. Please fill out this form with the recipient’s information,” the worker said, handing her a small form.

Maria filled out the form and handed it back. The postal worker carefully weighed the package and then printed the shipping label. «Your total is 25 dollars for express shipping. Will you be paying by cash or card?»

“I’ll pay by card,” Maria said, handing over her credit card.

“Thank you! Here’s your receipt, and your package will be on its way shortly,” the worker said. “Is there anything else I can help you with?”

“No, that’s all. Thank you for your help!” Maria replied, smiling.

She left the post office feeling relieved, knowing her package would arrive safely and on time.
