Story:

One sunny afternoon, Sarah went to the local café to enjoy her favorite coffee and read a book. As she was sitting at a table near the window, a woman around her age walked in. She looked a bit nervous, like she was new to the place.

The woman glanced around and saw that all the tables were occupied except for the one next to Sarah. Sarah smiled and waved, inviting her to sit down.

“Hi! Is this seat taken?” the woman asked politely.

“No, not at all,” Sarah replied with a warm smile. “You’re welcome to sit here.”

The woman sat down and introduced herself. “I’m Lisa. I just moved to this neighborhood.”

“I’m Sarah. I’ve been living here for a few years,” Sarah said. “How are you liking the area so far?”

“It’s great, but I don’t know many people yet,” Lisa explained. “It’s a bit lonely.”

Sarah nodded sympathetically. “I totally understand. It can be hard to meet people when you’re new to a place.”

They started chatting about their favorite hobbies and shared some stories about their lives. Sarah learned that Lisa loved painting and traveling, just like she did.

“You should join me next weekend! There’s a painting class at the community center. It’s a great way to meet new people,” Sarah suggested.

“That sounds wonderful! I’d love to,” Lisa said, smiling.

After that, they exchanged phone numbers and made plans to meet again. They both felt happy to have found a new friend.
