At the Library – В библиотеке
ОглавлениеStory:
It was a quiet afternoon when Elena decided to visit the local library. She loved spending time there, surrounded by books. Today, she was looking for a new novel to read. As she walked into the library, she noticed the familiar smell of paper and the peaceful atmosphere.
"Good afternoon, how can I help you today?" the librarian asked as Elena approached the front desk.
"Hi, I’m looking for a good book to read," Elena said, smiling. "I love thrillers and mystery novels. Do you have any recommendations?"
The librarian nodded. "We have a large collection of mystery books. Let me show you where they are."
The librarian led Elena to the section of the library filled with thrillers and mysteries. "Here you go," she said, pointing to the shelves. "These are all mystery novels. If you’re looking for something specific, just let me know."
Elena browsed the shelves and found a few books that caught her interest. "This looks like a good one," she said. "Can I borrow it for two weeks?"
"Of course," the librarian replied. "Do you have a library card?"
"I already have one," Elena said, pulling out her card from her wallet.
"Great! You can borrow the book for two weeks. Just remember to return it on time," the librarian said as she stamped the book. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
"No, that’s all. Thank you!" Elena said, smiling.
She walked to a nearby table, sat down, and began reading. The quiet environment and the smell of old books made her feel calm and content. Elena was ready to lose herself in a good story for the afternoon.
