Everyone has a hobby. Some people like to play sports, others enjoy reading books or drawing. My favorite hobby is playing the guitar. I have been playing it for about three years, and I can’t imagine my life without it. I play the guitar almost every day, and it makes me feel happy and relaxed.

I first started playing the guitar when I was 12 years old. I was inspired by my older brother, who plays the guitar really well. He taught me the basics, like how to hold the guitar and how to strum the strings. At first, I wasn’t very good, and my fingers hurt a lot from pressing the strings. But I didn’t give up. I practiced every day, and after a few months, I started playing simple songs.

Now, I can play many different songs, from soft melodies to faster, more energetic pieces. My favorite kind of music is rock, and I love playing songs with powerful rhythms and strong melodies. I also enjoy learning new songs and trying to play them by ear. Sometimes, I search for tutorials to learn new techniques or ways to improve my playing.

I enjoy playing the guitar alone, but it’s even more fun when I play with my friends. Every weekend, my friends and I have jam sessions. We all bring our instruments and play music together. Some of my friends play drums, others play bass guitar or keyboard. We don’t have a band yet, but we’re planning to start one soon. We like to play for fun, but sometimes we even record our sessions and listen to them later.

Playing the guitar has taught me a lot of things. It’s improved my concentration and patience. I’ve also learned to be more creative, because I try to make up my own songs. Music helps me express my feelings, and I feel proud when I play a song well.

When I have free time, I also like to visit music stores. I enjoy looking at different guitars and accessories, and I sometimes buy new strings or a pick. I dream of one day having a beautiful electric guitar, but for now, my acoustic guitar is my best friend.

In the future, I hope to play in front of an audience and maybe even record my own music. Playing the guitar is not just a hobby for me; it’s a passion, and I want to keep improving and learning new things.
