The story of the sturgeons of the Yellow River valiantly swimming against the current to reach and jump over the Dragon Gate (lung men) during the third moon of each year, thereby turning into celestial dragons, has become the legend of the dragon carp. So doors facing east, south, and southeast would benefit from wood images; doors facing northeast or southwest would benefit from porcelain images; while those facing west, north, and northwest would benefit from metallic images. The presence of the dragon carp above the doorway indicates that each time you step out of the home you become a dragon, full of strength, determination, and courage. As if by magic, you will feel yourself taking on the attributes of the mighty dragon.

The dragon carp image is especially excellent for those hoping to rise up the corporate career ladder, those in the political field seeking election or promotion, and those in the military. The dragon carp image is probably one of the best gifts you can possibly give to an aspiring politician, civil servant, or anyone set on a career where upward mobility depends on attracting power luck.
