BEST EVER FOOTBALL CHANTS #1

Оглавление

One of the birthrights of any self-respecting football fan is the freedom to dream up hilarious or often nonsensical chants that hammer or big up players, managers and teams. A match isn’t quite complete without a raucous group of fans bellowing out gems such as these:

‘There’s only one Emile Heskey, one Emile Heskey. He used to be sh**e, but now he’s all right, Walking in a Heskey wonderland.’

Sung to the tune of ‘Winter Wonderland’ by Birmingham City fans after Emile Heskey’s implausible return to form.

‘He’s here, he’s there, he wears no underwear, Lee Bowyer, Lee Bowyer.’

This was sung by Leeds United fans after the player admitted he sometimes went commando.

‘Don’t blame it on the Biscan, Don’t blame it on the Hamann, Don’t blame it on the Finnan, Blame it on Traore. He just can’t, he just can’t, he just can’t control his feet.’

Sung by Liverpool fans to the tune of ‘Blame it on the Boogie’ by The Jacksons, after Djimi ‘Wobbly Legs’ Traoré scored an own goal against Burnley in the FA Cup.

‘When you’re sat in row Z, and the ball hits your head, that’s Zamora, that’s Zamora.’

Sung to the tune of Dean Martin’s ‘That’s Amoré’, Fulham fans really knew how to show their appreciation for striker Bobby Zamora.
