ОглавлениеGood Will
What is good will? But I am always willing to do good, I am always ready to help others, I am very selfless… in reality, am I being sincere and honest with myself?
Good will is a “positive attitude” towards any situation. As we work on ourselves, we develop good will inside of us and it helps us to go through life and do things better, with enthusiasm and a smile. If we don’t want to do something and we have to do it, we try to do it with enthusiasm, not like it was something we were forced to do. It is a challenge, and at the same time it helps us to know ourselves better and bring out the strength inside of us. It is more gratifying to walk with a smile through life rather than a grim face.
Good will means making the most of every moment, doing it right, that is to say, doing what we have to do and not what is expected of us, with enthusiasm and without regret. To do this, we need strength, courage, and willpower, and as daily compensation we feel lighter because we unload our baggage; we will feel strong and determined to confront different situations in life every day.
We tend to confuse good will with submission or feel obligated to do this or that, because of or for others. Good will is a positive attitude and it allows us to move forward, and submission is a negative attitude that suffocates us in the shifting sands of fear.
