Оглавление‘The biggest gift I’ve ever been given is the absolute knowledge of life after death. My greatest frustration is trying to find a way to convey that certainty to others.’
‘I can categorically say that Anne is fine. In all my years of contact with spirit, I have never come across one that was distressed or afraid. And, yes, of course you are going to see her again.’
‘Let me tell you how it works. When somebody dies, it is as if they are put into a drugged sleep and are very slowly awakened. This way, the shock of their death and the wrench of leaving those they love is accepted in a very gradual, serene way.’
‘Years after my brother Pete died, he came back to tell me what it was like when he passed over. He told me he woke in the back of an ambulance and, as he sat up, he noticed a small man sitting opposite. The man was smiling at him, so Pete smiled back and said, “Alright?”’
‘The man said, “I’m fine, and so are you. You are dead and it’s time to come with me.”’
‘Pete told me, “You know the funny thing is, Mia, you would have thought I’d have freaked out. But I didn’t. It didn’t seem like a big deal at all. I just went with him.”’
‘The dead are always met by somebody, then once fully awakened on the other side, they benefit from the knowledge that they are going to see their family and friends again. Most of us on Earth haven’t got the comfort of that knowledge. The decades that you live on after Anne’s death seem an eternity to you but, for her, it is like the blink of an eye.’
‘When Pete came back after he had been dead for a few years, he was still the mischievous, easy-going guy he’d been at the time of his death. At first, I was shocked. We think that the dead all turn into spiritual, holy beings. But their personalities don’t change.’
‘I want you to know that the person you know and love is exactly the same in spirit. When you see Anne again, she will be the person you know.’
