ОглавлениеBackgammon Ukulele
BY RAINER SCHMIDT OF GERMANY
For the resonator, Ken used an old ammo box that he’d kept modeling tools
and paints in as a kid. Add some recycled guitar parts and a handful of screws
and bolts, and you’ve got a functional guitar. Ken says it sounds great, and the
best feature by far is the storage space inside
—
plenty of room for a few cans
of your favorite beverage.
The backgammon game came from
a thrift store; the neck was crafted
from old mahogany furniture with a
rosewood fretboard. A rope is used
to keep the game tied shut while
being used for musical functions
—
but as soon as the music is over,
the ukulele is easily converted into
a backgammon game.
