Materials used include scrap handrail

stock for the neck, four pieces of

scrap plywood laminated to form

the body, and a found coat rack

section for the base. Scrap #10

gauge copper wire was used for

the frets and attached with drywall

screws. Bicycle quick releases were

utilized for the tuners, and dice on an

inclined plane for fine tuners. The fret

markers are dominoes; the volume

control knob is from an old, junked,

reel-to-reel tape recorder. Craft store

paints and glitter glue, a found metal

grate, and a truck stop Silver Girl

finish off the instrument.
