ОглавлениеThis book is a must read for anyone interested in weight loss, weight maintenance, health, and longevity. Besides the doctor developed, doctor tested, and doctor recommend program, Dr. Karatoprak includes content explaining his unique breakthrough approach, which is interesting reading for health minded people.
From working in the health, fitness, weight loss, and performance product, program, research, and education businesses, I am constantly on the lookout for the next great breakthrough. In fact, over the decades I have developed numerous weight loss programs and products for the general public, athletic people, and health professionals. This puts me in a position to recognize a real breakthrough, which Dr. Karatoprak’s approach is; an approach that has the potential to help millions of people who are struggling with losing weight and weight maintenance and related health issues.
I met Dr. Karatoprak during another revolutionary breakthrough book project I was involved with, titled “The Gene Makeover”. As a coauthor, Dr. Karatoprak contributed his unique content related to nutrition programs for health, disease prevention, and longevity, including weight management, which he explains is a key factor for health, disease prevention, and longevity. From being a medical doctor who actually ran a hospital based weight loss center, among many other medical activities during his career, I was extremely impressed by his unique insights related to the complex issues related to becoming overweight and obese, and his developing a unique solution to medically correct weight loss. During his decades of research and practice he discovered numerous insights into the interplay between food, exercise, behavior, lifestyle, environment, and how these affect a person’s gene expression, metabolism, and hormonal balance, for example. His program is designed to actually favor fat burning and appetite control gene expression, metabolism, hormonal balance and physiology, while suppressing fat storing and overeating tendencies.
All told, Dr. Karatoprak has developed a new model to identifying and treating people who are overweight or obese with his Body-Profile Type™ approach. Dr. Karatoprak has used this unique approach with his patients, and recently in a hospital research study to prove it works. The study included men and women working at the hospital. All of the people who followed the program lost excess body fat and inches, and experienced improved health, including more energy and motivation. A big surprise to the other health professionals was that while most people were under-eaters, consuming less than 1,800 calories per day, how they were able to lose excess body fat while eating more calories per day.
