The whole volume is in Italian with, the single exception of one letter addressed: “Al Ille. (Illustre) Duque… Governador del … Capitan General,” and in a different hand, “de quince de noviembre; es duplicada sobre las capitulaciones.” There is a seal with the Royal arms of Spain.
