What is This Book About?

Iam an Irish woman who has for the most part of the last six years lived in Germany. For the last three years I have lived, loved, written and worked in beautiful Bavaria. What has drawn a full-blooded Gaelic speaking-singing woman to this part of the world near Hitler’s birthplace? Of course there is only one answer and it is, to heal.

Next question, heal what? And therein lies the mystery of my soul. I only know that in this place of green pastures, beautiful lakes, high alpine mountains, strange speaking inhabitants, beer drinking lederhosen men and dirndl dancing women I have found inner peace, joy, affiliation, beauty and friendships that forever sing in my soul. I have also found great and wonderful healing for myself and for my ancestors. I believe in the collective unconscious-consciousness. I believe we are all interwoven together like a beautiful multi-patterned quilt and that each of us plays our own part in the beautifying or darkening of the threads for this quilt. I hope to beautify the overall pattern with my contribution because I know I have come to earth to heal into unconditional love. Seemingly, here in Bavaria is where I am challenged to do just that. And so far the challenge is full of insights, love and joy!
