And How Did The Book Come To Birth?
ОглавлениеAND HOW DID THE BOOK COME TO BIRTH?
Author’s note:
This book is not written in sequence as such; therefore you, the reader, can decide which topic speaks to your heart at a certain time, then open that page and just experience.
Truth is, whilst I physically typed the words and arranged them into sentences that read more fluently, most of the contents of this book are straight from an inner tutor in residence whose wisdom has taught me these past years. The lessons that I learned were written in the downloading of spiritual truths, wrapped in everyday challenges that I had forgotten. This book is the container that holds some of the contents of these truths. As a Psychotherapist I have woven some psychology, as I interpret it, into the threads of the Chapters, hopefully giving some “grist for the mill” of understanding. I realized a long time ago that therapy alone cannot heal. Neither can ungrounded spirituality as such heal. One needs the combination of both together with awareness of the importance of our physicality, in order to reach a deeper appreciation of the beauty of a congruent personality. At one time I thought that by being a so-called pious nun I would reach sainthood. But I began at the wrong end! Instead of working from the base chakra upwards I began at the top and worked down but only as far as the waist! I was very “holy” but not a “whole” woman. The fragmented parts showed themselves in the life choices I made.
To be honest, this book was written in a short time every day for about two months in all. Sometimes the words would come to me whilst travelling on a train, waiting at an airport or in the middle of a concert. I also received some of the contents during workshops. Naturally I added my own understanding to most of the “downloaded” information, since I wanted a more coherent expression for my readers.
My gratitude to dear friends and students such as Janet Caranas Cobb, who has proof read the English manuscript and has been true to the original text, Cailianna Silvia Lange, Bettina Heidsiek and Alannu Hogger were always near to translate into German. Patricia Ploss also gave her precious time to helping with the translations. The texts were then distributed to the students for their own reading. Alannu said one day, “Why don’t you make a book from all this?” So, dear reader, here you are: the result of what I learnt for my own healing. I was challenged to either “Walk your talk or stop talking!” Not easy for an Irish woman! My inner scribe or inner tutor was strict with me, as I had to really understand that I was the one who had to learn the lessons first and then pass them on to others.
When you find that many themes here are repeated, perhaps cloaked in a different language, this is how I learn. Through repetition I gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Please forgive the recycling of certain topics. Friend, I am still learning the lessons, so maybe now that you have the book in your hand we can learn together … you in your way and me in mine, creating a New HalleluJA together.
With joy in connecting with your soul, I send you all love and great healing for your very precious life and for your ancestors. Remember that we are the “Spiritual Compost” for the next generations.
We had a conference in Bayern in November 2011 titled “Creating A New HalleluJA”, where we collectively visioned a consciousness of gratitude and love.
My references to a “New HalleluJA” in this book refers to this vision.
