Southern Nights

Southern nights are so seductive, like a beautiful woman in heat,

Who’s safe, sensual, sexual, and all so sweet

The night air goes in and out of my mouth; I suck it in so deep

It’s tasteless, yet yummy and cool, and also sweet

The gentle breeze blows through my hair

It caresses me with affection and seduction, with love and care

The stars are like a blanket with shiny jewels of tiny balls

That gives off light and rays

If you look close, you can see the North Star, the Big Dipper,

And the Milky Way

The moon is a raving, teasing harlot who likes to play

Passionate and sexy games

Once you’re under her spell and she touches you, you’re

Never the same

The color of night is so big, bold, peaceful and calm

Like she’s an old trusted sweetheart who would never

Do you harm

Southern nights are like a damsel who shares her tender amour

It gives you a sense of warmth and gentleness that’s tranquil

And safe

While she holds you in her loving embrace

The night is like an earthly penthouse or roof that is stress

And drama-proof. Dixie nights are so beautiful

You can take my word for what it is worth

There is no place like this on earth;

It is the garden of Eden, where God gave birth.
