Justice requires taking a risk. Ask the class what it means to take a risk and are some risks worth the outcome? When we see something that is not right or fair, we should stand up against it—regardless of whom we have to go against. True love and loyalty follows what is right no matter what.

A true friend will never turn their back on you. They will stand with you in the midst of a storm and make sure you have what you need. Jonathan and David are a great example of what it means to be a true friend.

We should ask God to help us be faithful to others just as Jonathan was faithful to David, and also ask that we have friends who are just as faithful to us.

Encourage your students to do what is right this week. When they see something or someone doing wrong at school, ask them to remember this lesson and do the right thing.
