ОглавлениеIt’s the most wonderful time of the year
December 22, 2013
“What do you want for Christmas?”
“Let’s not get each other anything this year.”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year
With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you “Be of good cheer”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year...
“We say this every year, and we end up getting each other something.”
“Seriously, let’s not buy each other anything. We have enough.”
“I know, but I have an idea for you this year.”
It’s the hap-happiest season of all
With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings
When friends come to call
It’s the hap- happiest season of all...
“Do you know what it is?”
“I know.”
“So, you don’t want a Kindle? You don’t think you’d use a Kindle?”
There’ll be parties for hosting
Marshmellows for toasting
And caroling out in the snow
There’ll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Christmases long, long ago...
“So, no Kindle?”
“I like real books.”
“Is there a book you’d like?”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year
There’ll be much mistletoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When love ones are near
It’s the most wonderful time of the year...
“If you buy me something and I don’t buy you anything, then . . .”
“Let’s just not buy each other anything this year.”
“You say that, but then you buy me something.”
There’ll be parties for hosting
Marshmellows for toasting
And caroling out in the snow
There’ll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Christmases long, long ago...
“What are you looking at on your comp?”
“Would you wear a button-down sweater?”
“I’m not sure what that is.”
“A sweater that’s not a pullover.”
“Oh.”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year
There’ll be much mistletoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When love ones are near...
“I’m not sure I’m a button-down sweater kind of guy.”
“So, what do you want for Christmas?”
“I don’t know. I thought we weren’t getting each other anything?”
It’s the most wonderful time...
“What about a Tablet? Would you use a Tablet?”
“That’s something I’d need to pick out.”
It’s the most wonderful time...
“What are we going to get the kids?”
“I don’t know.”
“Money, I guess.”
“We could get them a few little things like we always do.”
“And money.”
It’s the most wonderful time...
“What about your mother?”
“I don’t know.”
It’s the most wonderful time...
“What about your mother?”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year
“So, are we going to get each other something this year?”
