A Moment of Truth
Admiral Sandini Flagship
The helicopter with America’s top spy on board was approaching an aircraft carrier in the Atlantic, about 180 miles southeast of Virginia.
Bill Loadman had fallen asleep after the chopper had been airborne for a short time. He’d learned to sleep under stress, knowing the importance of rest and what it did for his strength. He yawned and started to stretch. But as his arms went up, the men watching him raised their automatics and cautioned him about any sudden movements. He was grateful for no restraints; being handcuffed would have been unbearable.
He looked out a dark window and could see the lights on the ship looming up on him and could hear the sound of the radio coming from the pilot’s earphones. He couldn’t tell what was said, but he knew they would be landing soon. Whatever the ship?
Whoever she belonged to, he would know soon.
The chopper came in, following the lights signaling him. As they flew closer to the ship, Loadman could see they were landing on a carrier. The only question in his mind was, Whose?
The chopper landed easily, and the engine was shut down as soon as she touched the deck. As the door slid open, a familiar voice spoke out to him. “Welcome, Bill, to Freedom Earned.”
Loadman climbed out to greet the admiral, one of his oldest and dearest friends. “What’s going on, Sandini?”
“Come with me and I’ll explain it to you. It’s something you and I have discussed many times, something that I could not accept, but you were preaching.”
The man from the CIA looked at the admiral for a few seconds. “Okay, Admiral. What’s this all about? Why have you brought me here?”
Admiral Sandini’s reply was curt and to the point. “Your men brought you, Bill, and we’ll discuss it in my office.” The two men left the flight deck accompanied by two agents.

Diana and Tork were cuddling together when the knock came at the door. Tork rose up to answer it.
Colonel Duncan and two guards were standing there. “Well, well, well, Colonel, long time no see!” Tork said.
The colonel smiled, discarding Tork’s sarcasm, and entered the room with one guard staying outside. “Mr. Albertson, I would like to show you—both of you—what we are doing here and why it was necessary to apprehend the three of you, why Mr. Varner was chased across California, and why it was necessary to bring you both back here to this location.”
“Well, Colonel, we just can’t wait, can we, Diana?” The sarcasm was cold and cutting. “I would love to know just what Cal could have possibly learned that would cause such a shake-up and why we are being held prisoners.”
“Held prisoners?” With a tone of sarcasm in his voice, Duncan continued, “No, Mr. Albertson. A guest would be more like it. After all, you were the one that trespassed, were you not? As for Mr. Varner, you might consider him a national security risk. After all, he ran from a US Air Force secured facility, didn’t he? You realize we do have the right to protect this country from terrorists and saboteurs. Now, Mr. Albertson, let’s get down to business, shall we? After the grand tour you both are about to take and you verbalize your opinion of what you see and learn, then and only then will we discuss your future. Until then, let’s take a walk and see what we are doing here and why.”
They all left the room and Colonel Duncan escorted them through the underground corridors. He pointed out different areas of interest and responsibilities of the military and some of the lesser secure systems in the complex.
He showed them the underground hangars with warplanes ready for launch. The size of the facility amazed both Tork and Diana. Tork looking closely at everything was also evaluating each and everything seen and said. As the entered the operations room, Tork could see why they were caught so easily. The surveillance monitors covered the entire wall. As a rabbit moved, you could hear each thump on the ground.
The colonel picked up on Tork’s thoughts. “We heard you crawling out from under your hiding place before we saw you and followed every step you took.”
Tork glanced at him. “Yeah. We found your sensors after we’d been walking. That’s dirty pool, Colonel. From what I see, we are below ground level, and I suppose there’s a first-class runway up there some place, right?”
The colonel motioned him to a plotting board of the United States. “In each state, you can see blue markers. Each one of these markers represents PPP. That’s a person pickup point. The red, yellow, and green represent destinations. The black ones represent control points. At each control point is a pickup team and a forwarding group. When the time comes, each team will act on the PPP in their area and deliver them to the forwarding group. At this time, the PPPs will be placed aboard the aircraft and flown to the destination according to their position or office they hold.
“Mr. Albertson, they will be incarcerated until we have restored the freedoms that have been taken away from the people and a new amendment to the constitution written to ensure we cannot lose them again. In short, we are going to have a revolution.”
The words stunned Tork and Diana. “You must be mad,” Tork said. “How in the world do you expect to accomplish this? It’s impossible.”
“Tork, we have members in every government position from both parties. We have all been appalled by what has happened to us and what is coming. We can no longer stand by and watch this country be destroyed from within. No enemy has brought us to our knees. The British Empire or any other nations could subdue us, but through careful manipulation, these people have done just that. Foreign troops have entered our country and disarmed our citizens. Therefore, sir, we now stand on a pinnacle of soiled destruction. We have given up liberty after liberty, and the United Nations has more power in the country than our military.
“They run the education system from the United Nations and you can see the results of that in our streets. The time has now come for patriots to rise up and throw off the shackles that bind us. Soon we will strengthen the laws, abolish the dope trade, and remove the United Nations and foreign troops from our soil. We will restore moral values to our country.
“In addition, we will intervene in the sovereignty of every foreign country that’s supporting the drug trade and the new world order. We are prepared to act on these subjects. Members of Congress that have joined us have prepared legislation that will give us the power we need. Foreign countries doing business here will reduce their control.
“The majority of all corporations will be owned by Americans. Foreign countries that own stock in any company doing business here will sell it or we will seize it. Corporate managers will follow the law. Insider dealing on any level will be a felony, and those who perpetrate it will be tried and jailed. We will require all states to pass sunshine laws. All government legislation must be in the open for all to see. There are so many facets to this it would take hours to explain and to certify. In short, we are taking back America. Freedom is earned, and we plan to earn every bit of it.”
Tork had thought about this himself over the last couple of years, but like so many, he had cussed at the changes but did nothing change it back. Yes, he had often thought about doing the same thing, but he knew there was nothing he could do. Instead, he went along with all the other sheep.
He looked at the colonel and said, “How do you join this clambake?”
The colonel smiled. “Welcome aboard, Captain.” He reached into his inside coat pocket and handed Tork a single sheet of paper.
Tork looked at it. “You must have been very sure of this, Colonel.”
Diana looked confused. “What are you looking at, Tork?”
He handed her the sheet of paper.
Diana took it and started to laugh. “Well, Captain, welcome to the new army,” she said.
They had recalled Tork to active duty and his orders read he was assigned to an army delta unit in California. “Well. No wonder we had problems with you guys. I suppose you have a couple dozen SEALS around here too,” said Tork.
“Oh, we have much more than that, Captain.”
Tork turned to the colonel. “What has happened to Cal? I don’t want to see anything happen to him. I think we can use him. His views are the same as mine and Diana’s.”
The colonel turned to the guards. “Take the Captain to C Corridor so he can talk with his friend.” He turned to Diana. “Please come with me, young lady, and let me fill you in on what’s going on.”
Diana was pleased the colonel was including her in this clambake too. It meant a lot to her.

The admiral had laid out all the basic plans and had introduced Bill Loadman to the projected B plans and what was going to happen. He invited Bill to join them and become part of this restoration of freedom and rights. Bill was in full agreement, but felt he would be a traitor.
“I’m sorry, Admiral,” he said. “I cannot fight against my own people. I agree something must be done, but this is too much even for me. It’s madness. You will all end up in prison.”
The admiral chuckled. “Bill, there is not enough prisons in the country or even in this continent to hold all of us. This project will touch almost every household in the country. It would be impossible for it to happen anywhere else but here. Remember freedom is earned and the Supreme Court stole it from us when they agreed with the merger.”
The admiral looked at his friend closely. “Bill, you must consider that we have a great deal of House and Senate members that are working for us, and we expect many more to join our cause. I know how you feel, and I know that you should join with us. If you fear for you or your family, rest assured you feel no differently than the Founding Fathers did when they went to war with King George. Remember, they were Englishmen that felt the Crown had let them down. So they took it into their own hands to address what they thought was wrong. From their efforts, the greatest super power on earth emerged. Now it has been subjugated by her citizens, men and women that have sold her out to the new world order, to the United Nations.
“With or without you, we will regain this country for every citizen. We will once again provide this country with its constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers. Only those changes taking away our rights will be removed. The constitution as written and honored on September 11, 2001, will be honored. The merger with Canada will and Mexico will be repealed until the people in the United States can vote on a referendum.”
At that moment, a lieutenant commander on the bridge called the admiral and reported a priority message had been received. Two words had been transmitted. The message read, “Freedom earned.” The admiral smiled and said, “All is well. Carry on as instructed.”
The admiral addressed Bill. “You think about it, Bill, and then you tell me you still want to work for the UN International Police, because if we lose, that’s where you’ll be, that is, if they decide not to put you into a dark hole in Brussels or Calcutta or another hellhole. Remember, at this moment, thousands of men and women are getting ready to do battle with your government. Anyone else wanting to get involved, well, they all know where they stand, and that to win their freedom, it must be earned. Wouldn’t you feel better knowing that you’d be working with them and for them and not against them?”
Bill Loadman looked at this great admiral of the navy, and he knew he was sincere. “Admiral, I must talk with my wife, and then maybe I can make a decision that would guide us both to our destiny. You have made a strong case for this, and I need to talk it over with her.”
The admiral smiled and left the good man to his thoughts. He went directly to the communications center and sent a coded message to Washington. It read, “Pick up Mrs. Loadman and transport to this location immediately.”

Senator Stoppell had been working late with his staff on a proposed bill to plug holes in the Federal Equality Health and Pharmacy Plan that had been passed and signed into law. It had excessive cost overruns due to abuse and lack of positive controls to save it. The senator had been working on the new bill. An advocate of the new world order, he was highly respected by the president, one of the new Americans that believed in the power of the United Nations.
The bill was designed to increase taxes to pay for it. It was easier to increase spending than to correct the abuse and prosecute the offenders. The increase in taxes would affect everyone’s income. No one would be exempt. The cradle-to-grave medical care had to be preserved at all costs, no matter who was hurt. The United Nations had decreed it, the president demanded it, and the new government approved it. As the senator was getting into his car in the underground parking lot, two men approached him. As the senator closed the door, one man put up his hand and motioned the senator to lower his window so they could speak.
The senator reached over and pushed his left front window button and the window slid silently down. “Yes, gentlemen. What can I do for you?”
The one man smiled. In a soft voice, he asked, “Excuse me, are you Senator Stoppell?”
“Yes,” he replied. “What can I do for you?”
“Sorry to bother you, sir, I’m agent Parker and this is agent Clarkson. We’re from the bureau.” Parker opened a small leather folder he was holding and let the senator see his credentials. “You have a priority emergency meeting with the president, sir. There seems to be something going on, and the president has asked the bureau to pick you up, sir, and several of your staff. Seems there’s some real problems coming up on the med bill and the president wants a high-level meeting tonight. He doesn’t want anything to go wrong with it at this stage. If you don’t mind, sir, we have a car ready to take you over to Andrews for the flight to Camp David. If you like, sir, you can call your family from the helicopter on our way there.”
“That’s great, but I’m really tired. Can we do this in the morning?”
“I’m afraid not, sir. The president needs you immediately.”
“Well, I’ve got everything with me on the new bill, and this will give me a chance to go over it with him before we finalize it. Okay, tired or not, let’s go.” The senator got out of his car and locked it, and the three men entered a bureau car and departed for what he thought was a ride to the base and Camp David.
All over Washington, the same scenario was going on. At each selected target, they were picked up and taken to a plane or a helicopter for transport. Before the sun was to rise on another day, all the selected targets had to be picked up and at their destinations or on their way to the holding camps. At the same time, the chosen military units were moving into position throughout the country. State governments were being silently taken over. Selected governors were picked up by federal agents and were on their way to camps where they would be kept away from other members of the House and Senate. Naval units had moved into position in both oceans. Carrier task groups were standing offshore.
The members of the House and Senate that were part of the revolutionary council were standing together to make the announcement at 6:00 a.m. in Washington DC. The country would awaken to a new, free, and brighter nation.
At the precise time of the announcement, a delta assault group would be hitting three known drug cartel bases in Mexico and Latin America. They would hunt down and bring back the drug lords to the United States for trial. Special selected ground forces, air, and naval units were moved to a position just off Panama. Should the cartel’s host countries try to intervene in American operations, they would be smashed. They had planned everything to the last detail.
Both air and naval units had targeted military bases and depots in each country. If need be, they would destroy them. The council was determined to stop all drug traffic into the country. The first proclamation would be to guarantee all basic constitutional rights based on the 1941 laws. They would enact all civil rights laws to protect all citizens based on their national origin, color, and gender. They would revoke all state same-sex marriage laws and allow companion laws to prevail with states granting spousal-type benefits. There would be no homosexual allowances within the military.
They would recess the Supreme Court and then hold the justices at a secret base until the revolutionary government was in complete control of the country. They expected that there would be areas that would fight to maintain the laws and the way of life as it was. The council hoped that without a governor or lieutenant governor to control the state, they would have far less opposition to worry about. With strategic bases in key areas, it was doubtful that there would be serious opposition from any state government. To ensure it, they had the commanding generals of each state’s National Guard picked up that would have been a threat to them. All State National Guard levels had been reduced to token levels, so pick up would be easy to accomplish.
All members of the council were determined to restore democracy. It was thought by many that America would have fought to earn her freedom from the political chaos it had fallen into. With the country converted into a service nation with a foreign-controlled industrial base, it placed the political control of the nation in the hands of foreign nations.
Through their corporate structures in the United States, Americans were retrained from high-technical jobs to service industries and at half their former salaries and wages. Since the base realignment and the exit of essential defense companies, the Chinese out stripped the country in warship production. The country was unable to build any at all, and the replacement vessels were built in foreign countries. The Chinese navy was larger than the North American navy. The Chinese submarine fleet was less sophisticated but larger in boats, and the Russians had made billions from them.
Despair and destitution had taken its toll on all. The time was now. The time is right to regain America. It would be a struggle. The bases were gone and the military had been depleted. The war in Afghanistan and Iraq had pulled the National Guard out of the country, leaving the states unable to support themselves in an emergency. Hurricane Katrina and massive wildfires with high levels of storms and floods devastated whole states. With the lack of troops at home, it necessitated help from other countries allowing other countries and the Mexican army to enter this country with aid. Many Americans asked, Where is that fast, deployable military that the secretary of defense had promised? It appeared it was a smoke screen to lull the people into an inert weak force that permitted the merger of America, Canada, and Mexico and the sell out to the United Nations and the European Union. Waiting in the wings was China, building, completely trained, and ready to strike. Russian Special Forces had done their job well.
