BOOK I THE STORM 1
ОглавлениеTHE MANY PERSONS familiar with the statistics of the Fifth Ice Age are aware that some 100,000 persons from the North American Continent and from Europe West were able to escape from these deadly latitudes of cold, wind and snow to the narrow Equatorial belt where life on Earth remained supportable. Thus one could expect at least that many accounts of tribulation and indomitable will would, very likely, equal or surpass this report of the Savage Company (originally the Harrow Group) in their fight to survive in a world suddenly become uninhabitable.
I was unusually fortunate in being able to save all of the notebooks of Dr. Gabriel Harrow as well as my own diaries, so I am able to present a report filled with much detail.
Any report must have a beginning and I shall begin mine with a Saturday in September of 2203—the day the snow started.
