4. CONCLUSIONS
ОглавлениеInnovation in engineering education must be informed by data. Teachers must be aware of their students’ performance (individually and at the class level) to support those who need more help as well as offer top quality educational resources progressively improved according to the data collected. Students should define a curriculum adapted to their particular needs and develop their SRL skills. Institutions must create specialized units for data collection and processing, and adequately train their staff (including teachers) for a data management culture. Nevertheless, there are numerous risks to be aware of, and a trade-off is needed so that these risks do not slow down innovation in educational institutions.
