Data are expressed as mean ± SD. The unpaired t test, χ² test, and Mann-Whitney U test were used to compare discrete variables between groups. Linear regression analysis was employed to study correlation between two variables. Multivariate regression analysis was performed to determine the independent factors influencing the FGF23 level. For all analyses, p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. All statistical analyses were performed using JMP version 9.0.2 (SAS Institute, Cary, NC, USA).
