The Sailor Cap

The Russian Navy introduced

sailor caps to the world. The sailor

cap shape is a fun wrapping

technique.

Pinch the two ends

together, using addi-

tional water as needed,

and press to make an

even edge.

Moisten the edges of the

wrapper and fold in half over

the filling so that the edges are

perfectly aligned. Press firmly

to seal the edges together.

This technique

does not have

any pleats.

Using your

thumb, crease

the center.
