PART 2 Constructive Criticism
ОглавлениеThose days when you look at the time and can't stand the thought of getting out of bed for work. Some days you make it out of your bed, but you don't even want to work. Oh! Yeah, it happens. This feeling can get scary because it is not a good feeling. Never a good feeling. Most of the time, you find out that you have a whole lot to do. Whatever that feeling is that keeps you away from work isn't a good feeling at all.
Therefore, if you are in this situation, there is no doubt that you quickly need to do something about it. The bitter truth is that in as much as some people could afford to let this feeling have its way, others don't.
Constructive criticism is about finding something good and positive to soften the blow to the real critique of what really went on. — Paula Abdul
Deadlines need to be met; those bills need to be paid. There are a lot of factors that immensely contribute to this, “I don't want to work or go to work today” feeling. It could be an unhealthy work environment. Sometimes, you have bullies and people you can't stand at work. They could be your nasty colleagues who give you a tough time. It also could be that boss that makes things complicated and is not so respectful. Another reason could be you! Yes, you! You with your lazy attitude. You with your over-the-top rude self. You with your low self-esteem, constant negative thoughts, and proclamations. We could go on and on about the causes of this. But the bottom line lies in the fact that this is not a good thing to experience for anyone. The following session of this book will give you steps on how to push forward through the negative vibes of not feeling or wanting to go to work.
