Hi, kids!

I’m Dash Derby, and I’ll be your guide

through the daring world of Pinewood Derby

racing. This book is designed so the larger process

of building a car is split into seven smaller pieces.

As you progress through the Seven Steps, be sure

to take your time. A good idea would be to do one

step each day, or one step every week. Set goals

for yourself and stick to them

and you’ll have an

awesome car built in no time! Building a derby car

is fun and exciting, but there are some ground rules

you should follow.
