Max and Marie

Walking along the bank, Max finds an old umbrella and he’s happy. “Great, gruntly. This will be my new mud protection umbrella.“ Marie flies over to Max.

“Oh, hello! You must be Marie, the painter?“, asks Max.

“Yes, that’s right. Should I paint some really nice dots on your umbrella?“ “Okay, why not“, Max answers. Happily Marie paints dots on the umbrella. “And now, all you need are a few dots on your stripes.”

“Oh, dots will only make me dirty!”, says Max. Marie shakes her head:

“Whaaaaat! The dots will make you look really good and even funnier.”

Max doesn’t really trust her. “You really think so? And can I wipe them off later?“

“Of course, Max“, Marie anwers. Suspiciously, Max watches Marie paint her first dot. All of a sudden Harry, the woodpecker, is practicing how to fly and crashes down right next to Max. Dirt flies everywhere! Max is startled and runs away. Marie’s paintbrush slips and the red dot becomes a line. Puzzled, Harry, the woodpecker calls after Max: “Max, why are you running away? Just having a extra try in diving down.“ But Max is already gone.
