1. In eventide comes the evening star,

Then do catch fire the other kind.

In twilight we can see someone,

Better gaze upon it for some time.

2. When comes on earth a darksome night

All people need the helping light.

The stars are coming to help them.

Always together have lived with man.

3. Their help is very great for us,

All night are sending only the things plus.

Lots of rays with magic force,

Are directing our fate, of course.

4. How can they know, what are we needing,

What is awaiting in the life when we are sleeping?

Perhaps they can see our dreams,

And want them to fulfil.

5. When we sleep, are open to all,

Fine dreams for us, day happy all,

But night around is… When gloom

Abounds. Watch for better, soon.

6. Who may keep watch in the defenseless one?

When people are sleeping, they can’t happen

To be able to defend themselves,

And very much need some help.

7. Who can help them in problem this,

And never leave alone to feel?

It is the star, which everyone

Can see in the sky, they always shine.

8. All people are born under stars,

But only one is like mother to us:

It’s the happy star, for everyone,

And we must feel the beacon shine.

9. For us is the fiery lighthouse sky,

For us is shining and saving light.

They are on guard, keeping watch over the dream,

So that nobody does it steal.

10. All people are trustful, when are sleeping.

In morning they forget… What a pity!

We must be always the open ones,

Like open shine of the magic stars!
