1. The majestic, magnificent mountains

Adorning the earth by beautiful form theirs.

Always are attracting attention

Of the courage, of distinction.

2. This kind of man climbs up always high,

Mountaineering is risky, but very fine!

Who never climbs the mountains,

He can’t understand the feeling of climbers.

3. Some people often think about mountains.

Someone draws a picture, another writes —

Of beauty and the cherished dream

Some day will disclose, what they mean.

4. Somebody relates astonishing story

About mountains… what to draw the moral?

Perhaps they have some secret hidden

Where are living wise and fearless people.

5. In mountains can live only the man

Who understands the language of silence their.

Too many kinds of surprises have giants,

Avalanche… collapse of diverse kinds.

6. But aren’t afraid inhabitants fine

To run the risk of suddenly dying.

Why left they town, and here came?

Perhaps a townsman lost a close one.

7. Can’t pay one’s debt to nature wise,

And relationship doesn’t look nice.

Can’t love natural flowers in fields, or meadows,

Or glades of forests… we are looking across windows…

8. And see from prison of concrete houses

Some tree or flower-bed around is.

There is a smell of burning everywhere…

How can live man and any plant there.

9. Perhaps earlier someone left

The crowd around, indifferent set.

And took refuge in mountains high

Where can live only the fearless kind.

10. May be all sages together meeting,

Had built a temple, where friendly were living.

What inner mysteries do hold the giants,

When will be disclosed by the sacred mountains?!
