1. In early morning you hear a sweet song.

Who sings such a wonderful one?

Who gave it the poetical content in words?

And who is the singer? I don’t know all that.

2. Sometimes I hear that sound fine,

Flying among the white clouds high,

But this music is not for ears:

So wonderful, lilting and gentle.

3. This song only he can hear who’s very kind,

Who’s living always with open heart.

Only keen hearts can catch the sound this,

About kindness the divine singer sings.

4. With eyes open, who live in life,

They can see in it wonders many kind:

The sound of clouds, of wind and earth,

Of night and moon, and stars the best…

5. The sound is everywhere on earth and in the sky,

But we don’t hear it, prevented by the mind.

What a melody it is! In the morning – one,

In the evening – other sounds are spun.

6. Who writes for people all the time

A new song every minute, sweet and sublime!

If we want to know the musician kind,

We must believe in the song divine!
