1. Good verse is the very need for us,

Like a faithful friend it gives advice.

It can help in time, when we are lonely,

And hopes in our hearts it inspires humanly.

2. Verse was my best friend in life,

Which was composed in simple style.

Which had lovely, kind words

About life with happy or sad turns.

3. About love, and the loving mood,

That people feel well and good.

To be in love is very fine,

To be in love all people desire.

4. Probably love holds secret some

But people can’t uncover one.

Poets many and musicians have

In their souls for inspiration the ground.

5. All feeling poured in endeavour creative,

In song, or verse, or music all pervasive.

In painting or books of variety

We can feel it and hear and see.

6. Everywhere everyone has the thought of love,

And the secret of love everyone wants to find.

What is concealed in the delicate feeling fine —

Who will express it in the verse divine?!
