Ps 34,1 Ein Psalm Davids, da er seine Gebärde verstellte vor Abimelech, als der ihn von sich trieb und er wegging. Ich will JAHWEH loben allezeit; sein Lob soll immerdar in meinem Munde sein.
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = [A Psalm] of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless YAHWEH at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
1. Sam 21,14-16
Ps 34,2 Meine Seele soll sich rühmen JAHWEH’s, daß es die Elenden hören und sich freuen.
KJV + EL = My soul shall make her boast in YAHWEH: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
Ps 34,3 Preiset mit mir JAHWEH und laßt uns miteinander seinen Namen erhöhen.
KJV + EL = O magnify YAHWEH with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Ps 34,4 Da ich JAHWEH suchte, antwortete er mir und errettete mich aus aller meiner Furcht.
KJV + EL = I sought YAHWEH, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Ps 34,5 Welche auf ihn sehen, die werden erquickt, und ihr Angesicht wird nicht zu Schanden.
KJV + EL = They looked to him, and were radiant: and their faces were not ashamed.
Ps 34,6 Da dieser Elende rief, hörte JAHWEH und half ihm aus allen seinen Nöten.
KJV + EL = This poor man cried, and YAHWEH heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Ps 34,7 Der Engel JAHWEH’s lagert sich um die her, so ihn fürchten, und hilft ihnen aus.
KJV + EL = The angel of YAHWEH encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

Ps 34,8 Schmeckt und seht, wie freundlich JAHWEH ist. Wohl dem, der auf ihn traut!
KJV + EL = O taste and see that YAHWEH is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.

Ps 34,9 Fürchtet JAHWEH, ihr seine Heiligen! denn die ihn fürchten, haben keinen Mangel.
KJV + EL = O fear YAHWEH, you his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
Ps 37,19
Ps 34,10 Reiche müssen darben und hungern; aber die JAHWEH suchen, haben keinen Mangel an irgend einem Gut.
KJV + EL = The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek YAHWEH shall not want any good thing.

Ps 34,11 Kommt her, Kinder, höret mir zu; ich will euch die Furcht JAHWEH’s lehren:
KJV + EL = Come, you children, listen to me: I will teach you the fear of YAHWEH.
Ps 34,12 Wer ist, der Leben begehrt und gerne gute Tage hätte?
KJV + EL = What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?

Ps 34,13 Behüte deine Zunge vor Bösem und deine Lippen, daß sie nicht Trug reden.
KJV + EL = Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.
Ps 34,14 Laß vom Bösen und tue Gutes; suche Frieden und jage ihm nach.
KJV + EL = Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Ps 37,27
Ps 34,15 Die Augen JAHWEH’s merken auf die Gerechten und seine Ohren auf ihr Schreien;
KJV + EL = The eyes of YAHWEH are upon the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.
Ps 34,16 das Angesicht aber JAHWEH’s steht gegen die, so Böses tun, daß er ihr Gedächtnis ausrotte von der Erde.
KJV + EL = The face of YAHWEH is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Spr 10,7
Ps 34,17 Wenn die Gerechten schreien, so hört JAHWEH und errettet sie aus all ihrer Not.
KJV + EL = The righteous cry, and YAHWEH hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
Ps 34,18 JAHWEH ist nahe bei denen, die zerbrochenes Herzens sind, und hilft denen, die ein zerschlagen Gemüt haben.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.
Ps 51,19
Ps 34,19 Der Gerechte muß viel Leiden; aber JAHWEH hilft ihm aus dem allem.
KJV + EL = Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but YAHWEH delivers him out of them all.

Ps 34,20 Er bewahrt ihm alle seine Gebeine, daß deren nicht eins zerbrochen wird.
KJV + EL = He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Ps 34,21 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = Den Gesetzlosen wird das Unglück/ Böse töten; und die den Gerechten hassen, werden Schuld haben.
KJV + EL = Evil shall slay the wicked/ the lawless: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
Ps 34,22 JAHWEH erlöst die Seele seiner Knechte; und alle, die auf ihn trauen, werden keine Schuld haben.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
Psalm 35
Ps 35,1 Ein Psalm Davids. O JAHWEH, hadere mit meinen Haderern; streite wider meine Bestreiter.
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = [A Psalm] of David. Plead my cause, O YAHWEH, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
Ps 35,2 Ergreife Schild und Waffen und mache dich auf, mir zu helfen!
KJV + EL = Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.
Ps 7,13.14
Ps 35,3 Zücke den Spieß und schütze mich gegen meine Verfolger! Sprich zu meiner Seele: Ich bin deine Hilfe!
KJV + EL = Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I am your salvation.
Ps 35,4 Es müssen sich schämen und gehöhnt werden, die nach meiner Seele stehen; es müssen zurückkehren und zu Schanden werden, die mir übelwollen.
KJV + EL = Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Ps 40,15
Ps 35,5 Sie müssen werden wie Spreu vor dem Winde, und der Engel JAHWEH’s stoße sie weg.
KJV + EL = Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of YAHWEH chase them.
Ps 35,6 Ihr Weg müsse finster und schlüpfrig werden, und der Engel JAHWEH’s verfolge sie.
KJV + EL = Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of YAHWEH persecute them.
Ps 35,7 Denn sie haben mir ohne Ursache ihr Netz gestellt, mich zu verderben, und haben ohne Ursache meiner Seele Gruben zugerichtet.
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have dug for my soul.

Ps 35,8 Er müsse unversehens überfallen werden; und sein Netz, das er gestellt hat, müsse ihn fangen; und er müsse darin überfallen werden.
KJV + EL = Let destruction come upon him unawares; and let his net that he has hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
Ps 9,16
Ps 35,9 Aber meine Seele müsse sich freuen JAHWEH’s und sei fröhlich über seine Hilfe.
KJV + EL = And my soul shall be joyful in YAHWEH: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
Ps 35,10 Alle meine Gebeine müssen sagen: JAHWEH, wer ist deinesgleichen? Der du den Elenden errettest von dem, der ihm zu stark ist, und den Elenden und Armen von seinen Räubern.
KJV + EL = All my bones shall say, YAHWEH, who is like to you, who delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him, yes, the poor and the needy from him that robs him?
Ps 35,11 Es treten frevle Zeugen auf; die zeihen mich, des ich nicht schuldig bin (sie fragen mich nach Dingen, die ich nicht weiß).
KJV + EL = False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
Ps 35,12 Sie tun mir Arges um Gutes, mich in Herzeleid zu bringen.
KJV + EL = They rewarded me evil for good to the bereaving of my soul.
Ps 38,21
Ps 35,13 Ich aber, wenn sie krank waren, zog einen Sack an, tat mir wehe mit Fasten und betete stets von Herzen;
KJV + EL = But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.

Ps 35,14 ich hielt mich, als wäre es mein Freund und Bruder; ich ging traurig wie einer, der Leid trägt über seine Mutter.
KJV + EL = I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother.
Ps 35,15 Sie aber freuen sich über meinen Schaden und rotten sich; es rotten sich die Hinkenden wider mich ohne meine Schuld; sie zerreißen und hören nicht auf.
KJV + EL = But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: The attackers gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
Ps 35,16 Mit denen, die da heucheln und spotten um des Bauches willen, beißen sie ihre Zähne zusammen über mich.
KJV + EL = With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

Ps 35,17 JAHWEH, wie lange willst du zusehen? Errette doch meine Seele aus ihrem Getümmel und meine einsame von den jungen Löwen!
KJV + EL = YAHWEH, how long will you look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
Ps 22,21
Ps 35,18 Ich will dir danken in der großen Gemeinde, und unter vielem Volk will ich dich rühmen.
KJV + EL = I will give you thanks in the great assembly: I will praise you among strong/ mighty people.
Ps 22,23
Ps 35,19 Laß sich nicht über mich freuen, die mir unbillig feind sind, noch mit Augen spotten, die mich ohne Ursache hassen!
KJV + EL = Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
Ps 25,19; 69,5; Joh 15,25
Ps 35,20 Denn sie trachten Schaden zu tun und suchen falsche Anklagen gegen die Stillen im Lande
KJV + EL = For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
Ps 35,21 und sperren ihr Maul weit auf wider mich und sprechen: „Da, Da! das sehen wir gerne.“ (ALBRECHT = Ei, ei, nun sehen wir’s ja!)
KJV + EL = Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.
Ps 40,16
Ps 35,22 O JAHWEH, du siehst es, schweige nicht; O JAHWEH, sei nicht ferne von mir!
KJV + EL = This you have seen, O YAHWEH: keep not silence: O YAHWEH, be not far from me.
Ps 35,23 LUTHER + EL = Erwecke dich und wache auf zu meinem Recht und zu meiner Sache, mein Gott [Elohim] and mein Herrscher!
KJV + EL = Stir up yourself, and awake to my judgment, even to my cause, my Elohim and my Sovereign.
Ps 44,24
Ps 35,24 O JAHWEH, mein Gott [Elohim], richte mich nach deiner Gerechtigkeit, daß sie sich über mich nicht freuen.
KJV + EL = Judge me, O YAHWEH my Elohim, according to your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
Ps 35,25 Laß sie nicht sagen in ihrem Herzen: „Da, da! das wollten wir.“ (ALBRECHT = Ei, nun ist’s erreicht!) Laß sie nicht sagen: „Wir haben ihn verschlungen.“
KJV + EL = Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
Ps 35,26 Sie müssen sich schämen und zu Schanden werden alle, die sich meines Übels freuen; sie müssen mit Schande und Scham gekleidet werden, die sich gegen mich rühmen.
KJV + EL = Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.
V. 4
Ps 35,27 Rühmen und freuen müssen sich, die mir gönnen, daß ich recht behalte, und immer sagen: JAHWEH sei hoch gelobt, der seinem Knechte wohlwill.
KJV + EL = Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: Yes, let them say continually, Let YAHWEH be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Ps 40,17
Ps 35,28 Und meine Zunge soll reden von deiner Gerechtigkeit und dich täglich preisen.
KJV + EL = And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.
Psalm 36
Ps 36,1 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = Ein Psalm Davids, des Knechtes JAHWEH’s, vorzusingen. Die Übertretung des Gesetzlosen spricht im Innern meines Herzens: Es ist keine Furcht Gottes [Elohims] vor seinen Augen.
KJV + EL = To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David the servant of YAHWEH. The transgression of the wicked/ the lawless says within my heart, that there is no fear of Elohim before his eyes.
Röm 3,18
Ps 36,2 Sie schmücken sich untereinander selbst, daß sie ihre böse Sache fördern und andere verunglimpfem.
KJV + EL = For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity is found to be hateful.
Ps 36,3 Alle ihre Lehre sind schädlich und erlogen [Frevel/ Unheil und Trug sind die Worte ihres Mundes]; sie lassen sich auch nicht weisen, daß sie Gutes täten;
KJV + EL = The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he has ceased to be wise, and to do good.
Ps 36,4 sondern sie trachten auf ihrem Lager nach Schaden und stehen fest auf dem bösen Weg und scheuen kein Arges.
KJV + EL = He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he abhors not evil.
Micha 2,1
Ps 36,5 O JAHWEH, deine Güte reicht, soweit der Himmel ist, und deine Wahrheit, soweit die Wolken gehen.
KJV + EL = Your mercy, O YAHWEH, is in the heavens; and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Ps 57,11; 108,5
Ps 36,6 Deine Gerechtigkeit steht wie die Berge Gottes [von El] und dein Recht wie eine große Tiefe. O JAHWEH, du hilfst Menschen und Vieh.
KJV + EL = Your righteousness is like the great mountains of El; your judgments are a great deep: O YAHWEH, you preserve man and beast.
Ps 125,1.2
Ps 36,7 Wie teuer ist deine Güte, O Gott [Elohim], daß Menschenkinder unter dem Schatten deiner Flügel Zuflucht haben!
KJV + EL = How excellent is your lovingkindness, O Elohim! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.
Ps 36,8 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = Sie werden reichlich trinken von den reichen Gütern deines Hauses, und du wirst sie tränken mit dem Strome deiner Wonnen.
KJV + EL = They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures.
Ps 23,5
Ps 36,9 Denn bei dir ist die Quelle des Lebens, und in deinem Licht sehen wir das Licht.
KJV + EL = For with you is the fountain of life: in your light shall we see light.
Jer 2,13
Ps 36,10 Breite deine Güte über die, die dich kennen, und deine Gerechtigkeit über die Frommen.
KJV + EL = O continue your lovingkindness to them that know you; and your righteousness to the upright in heart.
Ps 36,11 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = Laß mich nicht von den Stolzen/ Hochmütigen untertreten werden, und die Hand der Gesetzlosen stürze mich nicht;
KJV + EL = Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked/ the lawless remove me.
Ps 36,12 sondern laß sie, die Übeltäter, daselbst fallen, daß sie verstoßen werden und nicht bleiben mögen.
KJV + EL = There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
Psalm 37
Ps 37,1 Ein Psalm Davids. Erzürne dich nicht über die Bösen; sei nicht neidisch auf die Übeltäter.
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = [A Psalm] of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.
Spr 24,19
Ps 37,2 Denn wie das Gras werden sie bald abgehauen, und wie das grüne Kraut werden sie verwelken.
KJV + EL = For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Ps 37,3 Hoffe auf JAHWEH und tue Gutes; bleibe im Lande und nähre dich redlich.
KJV + EL = Trust in YAHWEH, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed.
V. 27.29
Ps 37,4 Habe Deine Lust an JAHWEH; der wird dir geben, was dein Herz wünscht.
KJV + EL = Delight yourself also in YAHWEH; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
Ps 37,5 Befiehl JAHWEH deine Wege und hoffe auf ihn; er wird‘s wohl machen
KJV + EL = Commit your way to YAHWEH; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Ps 37,6 und wird deine Gerechtigkeit hervorbringen wie das Licht und dein Recht wie den Mittag.
KJV + EL = And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
Ps 97,11; 112,4; Hiob 11,17
Ps 37,7 Sei stille JAHWEH und warte auf ihn; erzürne dich nicht über den, dem sein Mutwille glücklich fortgeht.
KJV + EL = Rest in YAHWEH, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
Ps 73,3
Ps 37,8 Steh ab vom Zorn und laß den Grimm, erzürne dich nicht, daß du nicht auch übel tust.
KJV + EL + WEBSTER = Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.
Ps 37,9 Denn die Bösen werden ausgerottet; die aber JAHWEH’s harren, werden das Land erben.
KJV + EL = For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon YAHWEH, they shall inherit the earth.
V. 11.22.29.34
Ps 37,10 LUTHER + ELBER-FELDER 1871 = Es ist noch um ein kleines, so ist der Gesetzlose nimmer; und wenn du nach seiner Stätte sehen wirst, wird er weg sein.
KJV + EL = For yet a little while, and the wicked/ the lawless shall not be: Yes, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
V. 35
Ps 37,11 Aber die Elenden/ Sanftmütigen werden das Land erben und Lust haben in großem Frieden.
KJV + EL = But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
V. 9; Matth 5,5
Ps 37,12 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = Der Gesetzlose droht dem Gerechten / sinnt wider den Gerechten und beißt seine Zähne zusammen über ihn.
KJV + EL = The wicked / the lawless plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.
Ps 37,13 Aber JAHWEH lacht sein; denn er sieht, daß sein Tag kommt.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.
Hiob 18,20
Ps 37,14 Die Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER) ziehen das Schwert aus und spannen ihren Bogen, daß sie fällen den Elenden und Armen und schlachten die Frommen (die in Geradheit wandeln).
KJV + EL = The wicked / the lawless have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to kill such as are upright in the way.
Ps 11,2
Ps 37,15 Aber ihr Schwert wird in ihr Herz gehen, und ihr Bogen wird zerbrechen.
KJV + EL = Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
Ps 37,16 Das wenige, das ein Gerechter hat, ist besser als das große Gut vieler Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER).
KJV + EL = A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked/ of the lawless.
Spr 15,16
Ps 37,17 Denn der Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER) Arm wird zerbrechen; aber JAHWEH erhält die Gerechten.
KJV + EL = For the arms of the wicked/ the lawless shall be broken: but YAHWEH upholds the righteous.
Ps 37,18 JAHWEH kennt die Tage der Frommen, und ihr Gut wird ewiglich bleiben.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever.
Ps 37,19 Sie werden nicht zu Schanden in der bösen Zeit, und in der Teuerung werden sie genug haben.
KJV + EL = They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
Ps 33,19
Ps 37,20 Denn die Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER) werden umkommen; und die Feinde JAHWEH’s, wenn sie gleich sind wie köstliche Aue, werden sie doch vergehen, wie der Rauch vergeht.
KJV + EL = But the wicked/ the lawless shall perish, and the enemies of YAHWEH shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
Ps 68,3
Ps 37,21 Der Gesetzlose (= ELBERFELDER) borgt und bezahlt nicht; der Gerechte aber ist barmherzig und gibt.
KJV + EL = The wicked/ the lawless borrows, and pays not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.
Ps 37,22 Denn seine Gesegneten erben das Land; aber seine Verfluchten werden ausgerottet.
KJV + EL = For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
V. 9
Ps 37,23 Von JAHWEH wird solches Mannes Gang gefördert, und er hat Lust an seinem Wege.
KJV + EL = The steps of a good man are ordered by YAHWEH: and he delights in his way.
Ps 37,24 Fällt er, so wird er nicht weggeworfen; denn JAHWEH hält ihn bei der Hand.
KJV + EL = Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down: for YAHWEH upholds him with his hand.
Spr 24,16
Ps 37,25 Ich bin jung gewesen und alt geworden und habe noch nie gesehen den Gerechten verlassen oder seinen Samen (Nachkommen) nach Brot gehen.
KJV + EL = I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Ps 34,10.11
Ps 37,26 Er ist allezeit barmherzig und leiht gerne, und sein Same wird gesegnet sein.
KJV + EL = He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.
Ps 37,27 Laß vom Bösen und tue Gutes und bleibe immerdar (so wirst du bleiben).
KJV + EL = Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell forevermore.
Ps 34,15
Ps 37,28 Denn JAHWEH hat das Recht lieb und verläßt seine Heiligen nicht; ewiglich werden sie bewahrt; aber der Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER) Same wird ausgerottet.
KJV + EL = For YAHWEH loves justice, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved forever: but the seed of the wicked/ the lawless shall be cut off.
Ps 11,7
Ps 37,29 Die Gerechten erben das Land und bleiben ewiglich darin.
KJV + EL = The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.
Jes 60,21
Ps 37,30 Der Mund des Gerechten redet die Weisheit, und seine Zunge lehrt das Recht.
KJV + EL = The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.
Ps 37,31 Das Gesetz seines Gottes (Elohims) ist in seinem Herzen; seine Tritte gleiten nicht.
KJV + EL = The law of his Elohim is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
Ps 40,9
Ps 37,32 Der Gesetzlose (= ELBERFELDER) lauert auf den Gerechten und gedenkt ihn zu töten.
KJV + EL = The wicked/ the lawless watches the righteous, and seeks to kill him.
Ps 10,8-10
Ps 37,33 Aber JAHWEH läßt ihn nicht in seinen Händen und verdammt ihn nicht, wenn er verurteilt wird.
KJV + EL = YAHWEH will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
