4 Case IH 956XL
ОглавлениеAssembled and/or manufactured in:
France and Germany
Current situation:
Case IH is still producing tractors.
International launched the 56-series in 1982, which included the mid-range 956XL. In 1986, with International’s agricultural side now owned by Case parent company Tenneco, the tractors appeared under the Case IH name in a red, black and silver livery, and the following year the styling was updated.
Available in two- and four-wheel drive configuration, the legendary 956XL was powered by an International 5.87-litre six-cylinder engine which produced 95 hp. The gearbox gave 16 forward and 8 reverse gears, and the XL cab provided a comfortable environment for the driver.
Initially produced in both France and Germany, from 1989 the 956XL was only made at the German factory. This example is seen baling haylage with a McCormick round baler.
