Pizza Peel

Cut the peel to shape.

Cut out the shape of the peel at the

bandsaw. Trim as close to the line as

possible, making sure you don’t actually cut

into or over the line. In later steps you can

refine and finalize the shape.

Clean up the edges.

Use a disc sander to sand down to the

layout lines on the convex edges of the peel.

Smooth the handle.

A spindle sander does a good job of

fairing and smoothing the tight inside

corners on the handle.
