The quality improvement (QI) radiosurgery registry has a role-based security model to maintain data safety. These roles include a read-only with no ability to update (or edit), and a read and write access which allowed selected users to edit and update existing records. Only the system administrator is allowed to update user dropdown lists. The system has inbuilt QA measures to reduce error and redundancy. All participants are trained on the system. The database has all the features required to comply with HIPPA and to maintain system security and patient confidentiality.
