We have developed a radiosurgery QA registry and successfully migrated our previous data on 13,000 patients into a new database. Over the 3-year period we have been using it, this registry has proved to be functional, simple, and reliable. This QA registry facilitates continued use of radiosurgery data for QI, long-term outcome analysis, and clinical research. This registry also allows us to collaborate with other regional and national registries. QA registries are necessary for big-data research. Advanced technologies allow the ease of integration of different registries which can pool data from various sources. Analysis of this pooled data will ultimately offer unbiased results which will help in developing evidence-based consensus guidelines.
